Provide access to information 

by curating a digital library of youth focused resources and connecting with individuals, service providers, organizations, businesses, and educators.

Be a source of education and support 

by organizing LGBTQIA+ youth programs and workshops.

Establish a platform for teen-led advocacy 

by hosting volunteer opportunities, supervising service projects, and collaborating with local youth groups.

Foster a sense of belonging

by hosting family events and activities, establishing safe spaces, and offering opportunities for connection.

Prismatic Teens Connection Nights

Hosted by: Leslie Payne, MSW, LCSWA, in partnership with Wake Forest Pride

About the Event:

 

Middle school is a transformative time for self-discovery and connection, especially for LGBTQ and autistic youth. Studies show that 5-35% of LGBTQ youth are also autistic, highlighting the importance of spaces that celebrate these intersecting identities.
