Education & Outreach
The education & outreach program of Wake Forest Pride works to deliver outreach programs and resources to support and empower the LGBTQIA+ community.

The Oral LGBTQIA+ History of Wake Forest
As of now, there’s no recorded LGBTQIA+ history in Wake Forest—we’ve been digging through the archives and coming up empty.
That’s why we’re setting out to change that.

We’ll be interviewing longtime residents as well as newer members of the community to help preserve their stories for future generations.

If you’re interested in sharing your story, please reach out to us at:
Ally Training
When: October 20th, 2025 - 6:30-8:00 PM
Where: Wake Forest Community Library
