About the Event & Volunteer Opportunity

Get ready to celebrate because Wake Forest Pride Fest is back for its second annual event! Join us on Friday, October 11th, 2025, from 11 AM to 5 PM for a vibrant and inclusive day of community spirit right here in Wake Forest. Building on the success of our inaugural year, we're excited to bring you an even more spectacular celebration of the LGBTQIA+ community, our allies, and our families.

This year's Wake Forest Pride Fest promises a fantastic lineup, featuring live entertainment, a diverse array of local vendors and artists, delicious food options, and a dedicated Kids Zone to keep our youngest attendees entertained. There's truly something for everyone to enjoy in a welcoming and family-friendly atmosphere. Best of all, there's no admission fee to join the festivities!

This event plays a crucial role in raising essential funds to support local LGBTQIA+ initiatives and programs, helping us continue to build a more supportive and inclusive community for all. How old do you have to be to volunteer?

We ask that volunteers are 16+

How long are the shifts?

A typical shift will be around 3 hours in length and will begin as early as 8:00 am and end as late as 7:00 pm.

Can I sign up for more than one shift?

Absolutely! Just make sure the times for each don't overlap.
